About the Role
Therapy Wellness Café is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team. With a strong focus on wellness and quality, our café offers a unique space for both self-care and great food. You'll assist in overseeing daily operations and ensure a seamless service that highlights both exceptional coffee and wholesome food offerings, with a focus on Wellness. The role is for Breakfast and Lunch service, no late nights.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate in designing a menu with an emphasis on health and wellness

Collaborate with café management to ensure alignment with customer needs and café goals

Oversee the preparation and cooking of nutritious meals

Lead, train, and mentor the FOH/barista team, ensuring high standards of coffee service and food presentation.

Assist in overseeing café operations, including staff rostering, inventory management etc

Maintain quality control over both coffee and food, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish and cup served.

Foster a positive, collaborative environment that aligns with our mission of promoting wellness, health and community.

Skills and Experience:

2+ years of experience as a Chef in a café with a focus on both food and beverage service

A passion for coffee, food, and hospitality, with an interest in promoting a wellness-centered café experience.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships.

Energetic, positive, and guest-focused, with a strong can-do attitude.

A willingness to learn and grow, while also guiding and teaching your team
