The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Officer to join our Darwin team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a hot desk focused on high-level permanent, government, and civil sector recruitment.

This role is client-facing and people-focused. You'll manage end-to-end recruitment, service government panels, build new business opportunities, and play a key part in RED's growth.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for white collar permanent, temporary, and government roles
• Build strong networks and talent pools in civil, construction, and professional services
• Grow client accounts and identify new business opportunities
• Represent RED at networking events and in the market
• Maintain high service levels through regular client contact and site visits

What You'll Bring

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally across high-level permanent and/or government roles
• Knowledge of civil and construction recruitment markets (highly regarded)
• Strong track record in meeting KPIs and managing a hot desk
• Excellent client relationship management and business development skills
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Organisational ability to prioritise and multi-task under pressure
• Tech-savvy with experience using CRMs and Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
