The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Officer to join our Darwin team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a hot desk focused on high-level permanent, government, and civil sector recruitment.
This role is client-facing and people-focused. You'll manage end-to-end recruitment, service government panels, build new business opportunities, and play a key part in RED's growth.

What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for white collar permanent, temporary, and government roles
- Build strong networks and talent pools in civil, construction, and professional services
- Grow client accounts and identify new business opportunities
- Represent RED at networking events and in the market
- Maintain high service levels through regular client contact and site visits
What You'll Bring
- Previous recruitment experience, ideally across high-level permanent and/or government roles
- Knowledge of civil and construction recruitment markets (highly regarded)
- Strong track record in meeting KPIs and managing a hot desk
- Excellent client relationship management and business development skills
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Organisational ability to prioritise and multi-task under pressure
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRMs and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
