About the role

Cranky Cafe' in Merimbula, NSW is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook / Baker to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for creating a range of delicious baked goods to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and baking a variety of pastries, breads, cakes and other baked items to our high standards

Ensuring all products are made with the freshest, highest quality ingredients

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Collaborating with the kitchen team to continuously improve our baked offerings

Assisting with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies

What we're looking for

1-2 years' experience as a pastry cook or baker in a commercial kitchen environment

Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety and ingredient handling

Ability to work well in a team and take direction from the Head Chef

Good time management and problem-solving skills

A passion for creating high-quality baked goods
