The Company
Our client is a nationally recognised landscape construction company with a proven track record of delivering complex, award-winning projects across commercial developments, civil infrastructure, and government sectors.
With a growing team across office and site operations, they are a trusted delivery partner for Builders, Tier 1 contractors, local councils, civil contractors, and major developers.
This company is continuing to grow nationally, securing major projects well into 2026, and is now looking to strengthen its leadership team with a key appointment.
Projects
They can deliver projects up to $10m in value which include:
- Large-scale streetscapes and public domain works
- University and education precincts
- Sports facilities and public open spaces
- Shopping centres, hospitals, and defence projects
- Civil infrastructure projects including roads, rail, and bridges
- High-profile parks, playgrounds, and urban renewal projects
The Opportunity
This is a rare senior construction leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of the construction division and be the driving force behind project delivery:
- Oversee all construction activities from pre-construction through to delivery
- Lead the bid, tender, and estimation process
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market share
- Build and mentor high-performing Project and Site Management teams
- Maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 builders, local councils, and key clients
- Drive safety, quality, and compliance standards across all projects
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource planning
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings
This is a highly autonomous role, with full support from the State Manager and Managing Director, giving you the freedom to influence and elevate the company’s construction operations.
The Requirements
- 3–5+ years in a senior management role (Construction Manager / Operations Manager) within commercial, civil, or residential landscape construction
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction or Horticulture (mandatory)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar (highly regarded)
- A proven network and track record of successful project delivery within the Australian market
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and client-facing skills
