FACILITIES MANAGER

Kinda-Mindi Early Learning Centres are a family-owned and operated group of early childhood education and care centres located across Sydney.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Kinda-Mindi. This is a part-time role that will be responsible for overseeing the co-ordination and management of regular building maintenance, repairs and renovation works for our group of early childhood education and care sites located around the broader Sydney area.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Facilities Manager, you are expected to be an active member of the management team which provides exceptional support to our services. This role is key for providing a safe, well maintained, organised group of early childhood education and care centres that reflect high quality childhood education and care to the children.

You will be responsible for:-

The management and co-ordination of cleaning, repairs and facility maintenance of all centres.

Research and procurement of goods and services, as required.

Conduct regular audits to assess facility conditions, log maintenance needs, and prioritise repairs.

Develop and implement key initiatives that drive high quality health and safety for all stakeholders.

Developing strong relationships with individual service Nominated Supervisors and their staff, maintenance staff, and individual site building managers, suppliers and contractors.

Working with other management staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the organisation.

ABOUT YOU

Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role in the property/facilities management industry.

Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Degree in a relevant field (e.g. facilities management, property management, engineering) or equivalent experience.
