About the Role:

PERSOL is recruiting a Warehouse Administrator on behalf of our client, a 4th generation family-owned building supply company. We are seeking a proactive individual with experience in warehouse operations and forklift use, to join their Sydney team. This diverse role combines administrative support with hands-on warehouse duties, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

• Conduct start-up and safety checks on machinery, including forklifts.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment
• Unload deliveries, verify stock against paperwork, and store items appropriately.
• Pick and pack orders with precision and maintain inventory records.
• Assist with stock takes and ensure the warehouse remains clean and organised.
• Handle timber products, including "racking" and "de-racking" as required.

Office Administration & Sales Support

• Answer incoming calls and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist sales representatives with stock checks, pricing, and samples.
• Manage customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and pricing.

About You:

• Minimum 1 years' experience in warehouse operations.
• Forklift licence & forklift experience
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency in data entry and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A strong focus on safety and operational efficiency.
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
