About the role
You’ll be a central hub between sales, clients, suppliers, and the project team. With strong attention to detail, your day-to-day includes:
Warehouse Operations:
Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and on time
Receiving stock, unloading containers, and coordinating deliveries
Stock control, including weekly cycle counts and periodic stock takes
Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
Loading/unloading trucks and ensuring efficient order flow
Internal Sales:
Providing internal sales support—responding to enquiries, generating quotes, managing approvals and client communications
Advising on product, brand, and spare parts information
Liaising with customers and internal departments for order follow-up and project coordination
Maintaining accurate CRM records, data entry, and supplier information
You will report directly to the director and work closely with our lighting design team.
Skills & experience
Essential:
Proven background in sales support, administration, or customer service (lighting, electrical, or trade industries preferred)
Strong organisational, communication, and administration skills
Attention to detail with order processing and scheduling
Ability to multitask across warehouse and office-based tasks
Familiarity with quoting tools or CRMs (e.g. JCurve / Oracle) is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Valid working rights for Australia and a current driver’s licence
Experience in warehouse operations (picking/packing, stock control, dispatch/receiving)
Physically fit, self-motivated, and reliable
Desired:
Exposure to lighting or electrical products, construction, or trades background
Interior designers with passion for lighting are encouraged to apply
Familiarity with CRMs or quoting systems (e.g. JCurve/Oracle)
Confident in liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills
Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
