The Firm & The Role

Our client is a leading major commercial law firm and well known for their work on high profile litigation matters.

Our client is looking for a talented and passionate litigator with at least 18 months plus to 4 years pae. Ideally, you will have experience with in general commercial disputes or professional indemnity/financial lines matters.

The team is in growth mode and there is a strong pipeline of work. You will work directly with the Partners but also have autonomy and responsibility.

You will constantly be involved in interesting and complex disputes, major matters that usually are in the AFR.

This role will see you working with a high calibre but down to earth team that support each other.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• at least 18 months plus in the area of commercial disputes or class actions matters or professional indemnity/financial lines litigation
• solid technical and drafting skills
• exceptional organisational skills and be able to project manage large scale litigation
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
• the ability to work in a team but also independently
• commercial nous
• passion for commercial disputes
