We can offer a Part-time (5 days) or Casual hours depending on your needs.

Key Responsibilities

To ensure rooms are presented with a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness

Damage or faults in rooms are reported and rectified immediately

Ensure furnishings, facilities and equipment is clean and in good repair

Carry out special projects as requested

Perform cleaning duties including cleaning of rooms or mini services when needed

Ensure Housekeeping trolleys are stocked and prepared

Undertake Housekeeping procedures including lost property, key control, security and emergency procedures, workplace health and safety procedures

Monitor and advise the Executive Housekeeping Manager inventories for operating equipment, chemicals, linen and uniforms

WHS compliance on chemical handling, safety procedures including storage and emergency and fire evacuation

Display a high level of service

Communicate with the EHK Manager and Reception on housekeeping matters

Mentor for all Team Members in providing extraordinary service and promoting a positive culture

Ensure your productivity and balance with quality

Maintain appropriate standards of dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and conduct

Complete all time sheets with accuracy for payroll

Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

Reliable transport to attend early morning shifts and varied schedules

Skills

Ideally you will come to us with:

Demonstrated experience Housekeeping and/or Public Area Cleaning

Strong customer service skills

High levels of eye of detail & attention to detail

Passionate about genuine guest experiences

Effective communicator

Available to work varied shifts with weekend work and Public Holidays involved

Have the necessary skills to resolve guest feedback and challenges
