As a Mobile Apps Platform Manager at News Corp Australia, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our mobile experience across 34 high-profile iOS and Android apps. Sitting at the intersection of technical leadership and project ownership, this is your chance to drive innovation, remove blockers, and deliver real impact at scale. In this role you will:

• Drive the successful delivery of key mobile app initiatives, ensuring projects stay on track and technical blockers are resolved swiftly.
• Define and clarify complex technical requirements across iOS and Android platforms, supporting engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, engineering, and analytics to align technical execution with business goals.
• Champion the integrity and scalability of our mobile app platform architecture, contributing to both local and global frameworks.
• Support agile project management processes, contributing to sprint planning, prioritisation, and risk mitigation across initiatives.

Who are you?

• A mobile technology expert with 5+ years’ experience in platform management or mobile app development across both iOS and Android.
• Confident in translating complex technical concepts into actionable requirements and guiding cross-functional teams toward delivery.
• A strategic thinker with hands-on experience using tools like Xcode, Android Studio, Firebase, SPM, and Gradle.
• Skilled in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) with a proven track record of managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Passionate about mobile innovation, with a strong user-focus and commitment to continuous improvement in development efficiency and app performance.
