Project Manager – Flood Resilience (NSW Government)

Contract to 19 December 2025 - possible extension
$1000–$1100/day + super
Parramatta Square & Sydney CBD | Hybrid (40 hrs/week)

We’re looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to lead a key phase in the delivery of a government flood resilience program. This is a contract opportunity through to December 2025, working across two strategic office locations (Parramatta Square & Elizabeth Street) in a hybrid capacity.

About the Role This role supports the final stages of a major flood resilience infrastructure program, including:

• Finalising the close-out plan for a Final Business Case and submission to INSW (Infrastructure NSW)
• Coordinating with technical experts and SMEs on flood resilience activities, including the completion of Flood Resilience Guidelines
• Working alongside the Director to complete remaining tasks aligned to Gate 2 Assurance Review recommendations
• Managing cross-agency collaboration with internal divisions and external government bodies

What You Bring

• 10+ years’ experience in senior project or program management roles, ideally in government infrastructure or resilience initiatives
• Civil engineering qualifications or strong technical understanding of flood resilience planning, concept design, and infrastructure development
• Proven experience in developing and closing out business cases, especially in line with INSW Gate 2 Assurance processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills — able to work independently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Deep understanding of NSW Government processes including infrastructure governance and multi-agency collaboration
