Total Health Physiotherapy Kedron is a locally owned clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care to our local community. We have been opened for just over a year and the business is thriving!
We are now seeking a dedicated full-time receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our patients, keeping the clinic running smoothly, and contributing to the growth of our brand.
This is a full-time position across our clinic's opening hours, with rostered shifts to ensure a healthy work–life balance.
We are in a prime location with excellent public transport access and free on-site parking. Remuneration will be in line with the Health Professional and Support Services Award and reflective of the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Welcome patients upon their arrival with genuine warmth
Answer phone calls, emails, inquiries from patients, referrers and external health professionals
Maintain an efficient booking system (Nookal software)
Track, report and coordinate treatment plans and patient referrals
Scan, file and digitally organise documents daily
Collect payments, issue receipts and manage billing inquiries (HICAPS, EFTPOS, Xero software)
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Assist therapists and other clinic staff with administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory
Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in accordance with Privacy Act
Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or healthcare administration is essential
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team
A strong client focus, excellent presentation and a demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
Social media skills would be welcome
Must have Australian work rights or valid visa permitting full-time employment
Knowledge of Medicare billing processes and healthcare rebate systems
