Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
• Support the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff
• Prepare and submit tax compliance documents, including GST and BAS returns

Profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CA qualified
• Ex Big 4/Mid tier audit background preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
