Description

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
• Provide insights on financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards to visualise financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics using Power BI.
• Automate recurring financial reports and streamline month-end close processes through Power BI integrations.
• Analyse complex financial datasets to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation

Profile

To be successful in this role you should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA / CPA Qualified
• Advanced Power BI capability
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience working with large ERP's is a must. Microsoft Business Central is highly regarded
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience within the industrial or manufacturing sectors is highly regarded.
