We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our clients' Shared Services IT team. This role is central to ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing Microsoft cloud environments that power our organisation.

You’ll manage day-to-day operations across Microsoft 365 and Azure, support automation initiatives, manage/engineer intune and strengthen security and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune
• Configure and enforce security compliance policies (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, Purview)
• Support Azure resources including virtual machines, storage, monitoring, patching, and backup
• Drive automation using PowerShell and scripting to streamline operations and reporting
• Monitor and respond to security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and related tools
• Contribute to disaster recovery, compliance, and continuous service improvement initiatives

About You

• 10+ years’ experience supporting Microsoft cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services, plus Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Hands-on experience with Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview
• Skilled in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/Autopilot) and device management
• Understanding of identity and access management (Azure AD/Entra ID)
• Relevant certifications in Azure, ITIL4, and cyber security frameworks are highly regarded
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
