The Role

We're looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our small, hands-on team. You'll be a driving force behind the intelligence of our system, taking ownership of our machine learning classification framework. Your primary focus will be designing, building, and refining the deep learning models that automatically detect manufacturing flaws from our unique sensor data. This is a critical role for a builder who is passionate about applying cutting-edge ML techniques to solve real-world industrial challenges in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do

Design, train, and deploy robust deep learning models for classification and analysis of sensor data.

Develop and enhance our ML framework, focusing on architectures for image and 3D data segmentation

Design and build cutting edge workflows, model architectures, and predictive models for a unique dataset.

Manage the entire ML lifecycle, from data pre-processing and augmentation to model deployment and training.

Collaborate closely with our software engineering team to integrate ML models into our production software.

Continuously research and apply the latest advancements in machine learning to keep our technology at the cutting edge.

What You'll Bring

Proven ability to independently lead and deliver research projects with relevant experience in a machine learning or data science role.

Strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Proven experience in developing and implementing deep learning models, particularly image segmentation methods, and familiarity with common architectures.

Excellent proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem

You must have the right to work in Australia.
