strive to create a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic environment where both staff

and students are empowered to thrive.

We believe in the power of lifelong learning and encourage our educators to share

their enthusiasm and passion for their subjects. Together, we make a meaningful

difference in the lives of young people, guiding them to become thoughtful, curious,

and compassionate individuals who are ready to succeed in the world beyond our

The Opportunity:

Are you a dedicated and passionate Science teacher ready to inspire the next

exceptional Science Teacher to join our vibrant team in 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity

to teach engaging Science lessons to students in Years 7–10, with the potential to

extend your expertise to Stage 6 Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).

We are looking for an educator who is not just an expert in their subject but is also

Key Responsibilities:

 Innovate and Inspire: Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered

lessons that align with the NSW Science Curriculum and foster a love of

learning.

 Create a Positive Learning Environment: Build and maintain an

organised, inclusive, and dynamic classroom atmosphere where every

student can thrive.

 Assessment and Feedback: Provide constructive, timely feedback to

students and parents, supporting their academic growth and development.

 Engage Beyond the Classroom: Participate in school activities such as

excursions, sports events, and co-curricular programs, helping to create a

well-rounded educational experience.

 Commit to Student Well-Being: Be an advocate for the students’ well-

being, ensuring their safety and supporting their personal development in

line with our Christian values.

Essential Criteria:

 A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.

 NESA accreditation and a passion for continuous professional growth.

 A current Working with Children Check.

 Deep understanding of the NSW Science Curriculum and a genuine

desire to bring it to life for students.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage

positively with students, parents, and colleagues.

 An ability to adapt and respond with patience, creativity, and flexibility to

the diverse needs of students.

 A practicing Christian who aligns with the mission and values of St

Marks College, contributing to a supportive and values-driven school

culture.

Employee Benefits:

 Comprehensive Well-Being Support: Employee Assistance Program

(EAP) for mental health and well-being.

 Work/Life Balance: Flexible initiatives to ensure you can bring your best

self to work and home.

 Physical Well-Being: Access to our staff fitness program, promoting a

healthy and balanced lifestyle.

 Additional Employee Benefits: Competitive salary and ongoing

professional development opportunities.
