Salary: $90,000–$136,000

We’re working with a number of high-performing independent schools across Sydney who are currently seeking TAS (Technological and Applied Studies) Teachers across a range of disciplines. These full-time roles span junior and senior secondary year groups and offer the chance to teach in schools that are well-resourced, academically focused, and committed to staff development.

About the Roles
We are currently recruiting teachers in the following subject areas:

Food Technology

Design & Technology

Industrial Technology

Computing & Engineering

Software Engineering

Roles are available across Years 7–12, with contracts ranging from 6 to 12 months, as well as ongoing permanent opportunities. You’ll be teaching in supportive, forward-thinking environments that value innovation and creativity in TAS teaching.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified and confident teaching TAS subjects in Years 7–12

Strong practical knowledge and safety awareness in workshop or lab settings

Organised, professional, and passionate about applied learning

Open to working in faith-based or values-driven school environments

Must-Have Requirements

Current NESA teacher accreditation (or eligibility to obtain it)

Full working rights in Australia

Willingness to provide 2–3 references and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet child safeguarding requirements
