About the role
As a Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals in our bustling kitchens at Watersedge Events located in the heart of The Rocks, NSW 2000.

This full-time role is crucial in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

· Preparing and cooking a wide variety of meals and dishes to the highest standard

· Ensuring all food is prepared safely and hygienically in accordance with food safety regulations

· Assisting in the development and testing of new menu items

· Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

· Collaborating with the wider kitchen team to deliver efficient service

· Providing guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff

What we're looking for

· Proven experience as a Chef. minimum 3 years

· Strong working knowledge of Chef standards and best practices

· Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

· Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

· Passionate about using fresh, quality ingredients to create delicious food

· Team player with a positive attitude
