We’re looking for a curious, organised self-starter to join us as a Graduate Hiring Assistant. This role includes travel to meet team members or attend events, so a flexible, proactive mindset is essential. No prior recruitment experience is required, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
About the Role
You’ll be part of the operations team, helping to ensure the hiring process runs smoothly and new team members have a fantastic experience. It’s a full-time role based in our Sydney office (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm), with required travel to our remote exploration sites around Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews
Assist with onboarding new team members, from documentation to welcoming them to the business

Coordinate internal communications, calendars, and recruitment-related logistics
Help plan and support recruitment campaigns, events, and engagement initiatives
Contribute to process improvements and HR projects across the business
Jump in to support ad-hoc tasks and special projects across the organisation
Who You Are:
A recent graduate from any discipline (science, business, arts, engineering - we’re open)
Motivated to learn, contribute, and explore different areas of HR and recruitment
Highly organised, detail-focused, and good at following things through
Comfortable figuring things out when there’s no clear playbook
Confident interacting with people at all levels
Curious about tech, start-ups, and building a positive workplace culture
A team player who’s not afraid to ask questions or get stuck in
Why Join Us:
Learning opportunities: Gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, and people operations
Growth opportunities: Shape your own career path in a fast-growing start-up
Collaborative environment: Work with passionate, supportive people
Competitive pay: Base salary + quarterly performance bonus
