National 360’s Hobart team is growing and looking for a Proficient Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (PBS) to join. As an experienced PBS Practitioner you will have the opportunity to advocate for clients and work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Be part of a dynamic and supportive group of skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners. Based in our National 360 Hobart team, you’ll enjoy a flexible working model that includes in-home visits, clinic-based sessions, and outreach across the local community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with participants and stakeholders.
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs).
  • Creating and implementing effective Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Educating and training carers and support teams.
  • Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices in line with NDIS guidelines.
  • Monitoring outcomes through regular data collection.

ABOUT YOU

  • You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
  • Endorsed as ‘Proficient’ or above against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required).
  • You have full Australian working rights.
  • You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
  • You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver’s licence.
  • You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check.
