ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role will play a key part in the day-to-day financial accounting function, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of monthly and annual results.

You'll take ownership of cash flow reporting, bank reconciliations, maintaining G/L integrity, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. You will also contribute to finance system improvements and continuous process optimisation across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations, and variance commentary

Manage and maintain daily cash flow models and bank reconciliations

Maintain G/L integrity and review AP batches before posting

Support budgeting and forecasting cycles

Maintain the fixed asset register and chart of accounts

Support finance automation and process improvement projects

Administer corporate credit cards and eTags

Provide backup support for AR when required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA in progress preferred)

3+ years' experience in industry or 2+ years in public practice

Previous retail sector experience advantageous

Strong Excel and financial systems skills (Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience ideal)

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Proactive, collaborative, and curious mindset
