The Role
We’re seeking a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Knoxfield, VIC. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll lead financial reporting, compliance, and forecasting while managing the AP/AR team. This role blends hands-on accounting with strategic influence across sales, operations, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, accruals, and reporting
• Deliver monthly financial reports and CEO packs
• Lead AP/AR and payroll accounting
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
• Handle BAS, FBT, and payroll tax compliance
• Conduct stock takes, inventory valuation, and reconciliations
• Provide variance analysis, margin reporting, and insights
• Partner on business planning, efficiencies, and projects
• Support audits, statutory reporting, and compliance

What You’ll Bring

• CA or CPA qualification + Bachelor’s in Accounting/Commerce
• 5+ years’ experience, including 3+ years post-qualification
• Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting
• Strong financial management and commercial skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, work in teams, and juggle priorities
• Strong communication, able to engage openly across all levels
• Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and change
• Motivated, achievement-focused, and hands-on
