We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Roster Coordinator to join our compassionate team.
Job Description
As a Roster Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facility is adequately staffed to provide the highest level of care to our residents. You will work closely with management and staff to create and manage efficient and effective rosters, accommodating the needs of both our residents and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, and maintain staff rosters to ensure optimal coverage
- Coordinate staff availability, leave, and shift swaps
- Monitor and adjust rosters in response to changing staffing requirements
- Communicate roster changes and updates to staff in a timely manner
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work laws and regulations
- Maintain basic knowledge of Fair Work laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate records of staff hours, leave balances, care minutes and other relevant data
- Provide support and assistance to staff regarding roster-related inquiries
- Assisting in processing the fortnightly Payroll
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 6 months experience in roster coordination or similar role, preferably in aged care
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in rostering software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Australian work rights are required for this position
