About the role

If you are early in your freight forwarding or logistics career, or looking to establish yourself in the industry, this full-time Import and Export Operator role at Express Customs and Forwarders offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As the Import and Export Operator, you will work alongside our Operations Manager and Senior Customs Broker to provide a high level of service to our domestic and international clients and partners.

This role is based full-time at the Express Customs and Forwarders office near Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine).

Responsibilities

Help manage shipments from start to finish

Work with shipping companies, freight forwarders and government agencies

Track deliveries and proactively solve delays or issues

Handle import/export paperwork and invoicing

Provide great service to our clients

What we're looking for

Someone eager to learn and build a career in logistics

Great communication skills

Good attention to detail

Comfortable using Microsoft Office (previous experience in Cargowise an advantage)

Team player with a positive attitude
