My Client is delivering projects that connect people and places-and they are looking for a skilled Senior Communications Advisor to ensure their progress is understood, celebrated, and supported. What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

Lead the design and delivery of strategic communications and engagement initiatives for key infrastructure projects.

Partner with project teams to turn complex technical information into accessible, engaging messages for the public.

Build lasting relationships with stakeholders, from contractors and councils to community groups and local businesses.

Develop and deliver a wide range of content-from media releases and newsletters to social media campaigns-that resonates with diverse audiences.

Provide expert advice to senior leaders and project managers on best practice communication approaches.

Anticipate issues, manage risks, and ensure information flows clearly and consistently to all stakeholders.

About you

You're a confident communicator who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments. You know how to balance creativity with strategy, and you're equally comfortable writing a press release, running a community information session, or advising executives.

To succeed, you'll bring:

Demonstrated experience in communications, engagement, or public relations (government or infrastructure experience highly regarded).

A knack for making complex ideas easy to understand and engaging for all audiences.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse groups.

Excellent writing and editing skills, backed by sound judgement and political awareness.

A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt quickly when priorities shift.

Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline are desirable. IAP2 certification will be highly regarded.
