Industrial Fitter Machinist – Great Pay & Varied Work

Join our hardworking maintenance team as an Industrial Fitter Machinist and take on a role with variety and growth. You’ll work across new fit-out projects, precision machining, breakdown response, general maintenance, and equipment upgrades – including energy efficiency upgrade works.

What’s on offer

Excellent pay: $45 – $50 p/h (depending on experience & qualifications) + penalties & allowances

Great hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Optional overtime and rotating on-call roster with allowances

Work on a wide range of industrial machinery and plant equipment

Your day-to-day

Precision fitting, turning, and machining to keep critical equipment operating at its best

Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform preventative maintenance

Assist with installation of new plant and energy efficiency upgrades

Work alongside electricians, boilermakers, and trades assistants on diverse projects

What we’re looking for

Trade-qualified

Strong skills in machining, fabrication, and mechanical maintenance

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently

Safety-first mindset and a strong team ethic

Welding or refrigeration knowledge a bonus (not required)
