Ascolta Early Learning, a boutique Perth based childcare provider with 7 services across the southern to northern suburbs, has a rare opportunity for a Recruitment & Onboarding Consultant to join their support office team.
About the role
In this 6 month fixed-term contract role, you will partner closely with our leadership team, working directly with the Operations Manager and Area Manager to provide recruitment and onboarding solutions across all internal roles, including Centre Directors, Assistant Directors, Educational Leaders, Room Leaders, Educators, Cooks, and Cleaners.
This is a hands-on position, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment and is passionate about supporting an organisation that values its team members
Primary Responsibilities
Posting job vacancies, screening resumes, booking interviews and shortlisting candidates.
Managing the full recruitment cycle: phone screening, coordinating interviews, qualification validation, reference checks, and contract preparation and issue.
Onboarding approved candidates.
Maintaining and tracking qualifications, probation periods, and performance reviews.
Additional Duties
Supporting the leadership team with the employee lifecycle, from commencement to exit.
Drafting variation letters using approved templates.
Liaising with Service Managers regarding recruitment needs, pay rates and team structures.
Managing the company’s talent pool and maintaining accurate candidate records.
Ensuring HR compliance and liaising with HR consultants when needed.
Coordinating with preferred recruitment agencies for current vacancies.
Conducting exit interviews and maintaining employee records.

What You Will Need
Recruitment experience with strong candidate engagement skills (essential)
Previous recruitment experience in the Early Childhood Care sector is highly desirable.
Proficient computer skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Current WA Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
National Criminal History Check within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain).
Right to work in Australia.
