Tasks and duties

Lead and oversee all outreach and ideation activities, ensuring the team meets link-building targets, completes tasks on time, and operates within budget.
Review and approve all work before client delivery to maintain the highest quality standards.
Develop and present proposals for new business opportunities.

Pitch new business and actively participate in client acquisition calls.

Monitor client performance and ensure the success of all client campaigns.

Manage and mentor a team of six, including four direct reports, fostering professional development and growth.

Train, coach, and mentor employees to enhance team performance and capabilities.

Promote the agency through LinkedIn, podcasts, industry talks, blog posts, and other thought leadership initiatives.

Develop and expand the Digital PR service offering to maintain competitive advantage.

Drive team growth and contribute to the overall success of the agency.

Achieve revenue targets and ensure commercial goals are met.

Manage high-budget clients, ensuring outstanding service and measurable results.

Support outreach and ideation efforts as needed to contribute directly to campaign success.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Public Relations

Over 5 years of experience in the Digital PR industry

Demonstrated success in managing and leading teams (ideally 5–10 people), including training, mentoring, and performance management.

Track record of managing high-budget clients and delivering measurable results.

Experience in new business development, including proposal creation, pitching, and securing clients.

Hands-on experience with client reporting, performance monitoring, and driving client success.

Proven ability to meet revenue and commercial targets.

Strong project management skills, with experience ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
