Steel fixers - Full-time positions

Mondaa Group Pty Ltd is specialized in delivering industry leading subcontracting services to the in the steel reinforcement industry across NSW.

Known for delivering high-quality work across multi-residential and commercial projects, Mondaa Group Pty Ltd looking for a skilled and fully qualified Steel fixers to work on large-scale reinforcement projects. This is a full-time position with 38-hour basic weeks.

The Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Steel fixers for a permanent, full–time position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry out measurements and calculations

Read and interpret plans and specifications

Cut, bend and fit welded wire mesh into concrete areas to be mesh-reinforced

Fix mesh and reinforced steel into position in formwork for concrete pours

Set up winches and rig equipment to raise and position girders, plates, columns and other steel units

Use steelfixing tools and equipment

Be prepared to assist other trades

Minimum Requirements:

AQF Certificate II or III in the relevant field

Steel fixing, post-tensioning and construction experience: 2 years (Required)

Current Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)

Desirable Skills:

Safety procedures knowledge

Positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in an inclusive team

Valid Driving License and transport desirable
