POSITION DETAILS

  • Full-Time, Permanent
  • Classification: Registered Nurse Level 4 with salary range of $134,012 - $151,993 per annum + Superannuation OR
  • Classification: Health Professional Level 4 with a salary range of $133,123 - $154,424 per annum + Superannuation

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

The Southern Wellbeing Hub is a service for people who are experiencing mental health concerns. The service delivery reflects principals of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery Oriented practice.

The Southern Wellbeing Hub service provides a holistic approach to care, addressing a range of social, physical, and emotional needs informed by Collaborative Relational Practice (CRP) and supported by best practice in evidence-based and evidence informed care. Individuals can access psychological services across the stepped care continuum, incorporating a lived experienced worker as first contact and throughout the service as part of the model of care.

Services range from low intensity therapeutic support, for peoplepresenting with mild mental health conditions, to psychological therapies for people with mild to moderate conditions. Individuals with chronic and complex mental health conditions can receive clinical care coordination, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) groups, and peer support services.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or related
  • Current full registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), OR
  • Current full registration as a Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Experience working in cross cultural settings, especially with first nations people.
  • Experience working within a recovery-oriented service.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Computer literacy and written communication skills.
  • Experience providing leadership to Lived Experience workforce.

Desirable

  • Experience providing leadership to Lived Experience workforce.
  • Mental Health Credentialling

WHAT THE ROLE REQUIRES

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work
  • Australian working rights
  • The capacity to drive/access to a car
