Role Description

We have a part time (25-30 hours per week) permanent position as a Finance Officer based at our Ottoway Skills Centre.

In this role, your finance skills will see you involved in processing supplier invoices, preparing payment runs, managing the corporate credit card expenses, allocating bank transactions, following up overdue debts and taking responsibility for the purchase order system. You’ll work within a small supportive team environment.

Applicants must have experience in:

· MYOB (or similar)

· Processing of payable invoices and credit notes

· Allocation of payments and receipts

· Credit control

· MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Month end credit card reconciliations

· Customer service outlook and good communication skills

We would like to hear from you if you are able to demonstrate the following attributes:

· At least two years’ experience in a finance position

· Experience with invoicing & payments

· High accuracy, and attention to detail

· Highly organised with good written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to meet business deadlines

· Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks

· Payroll experience would be an advantage to support the team as a backup

Salary: $65,000-$68,000 FTE plus, + 12% super + annual leave loading. (Salary dependent on qualifications and experience).

Employment Checks:

Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a DHS Working with Children Clearance, National Police Clearance and satisfactory pre-employment health assessment results.
