Our Federal Government client is seeking an APS 5 HR Advisor- Learning and Development for an ongoing s26 or 12-month non-ongoing opportunity with possibility for extension.
The successful applicant will support the delivery of quality learning and development programs that build the capability of the Agency.
You will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our learning management system (LMS).
Prior experience in designing and developing learning courses and materials for the LMS is also desirable, but not essential.
Primary outcomes and accountabilities:
As the Learning and Development Advisor you will assist in supporting the delivery of the Agency learning and development program, along with managing our learning management system.
This includes leading the extraction, collation and cleaning of data, creation of reports and courses, analysis and interpretation of data, report writing, user testing, security and access controls.
You will also be responsible for management of the L&D mailbox, procurement activities and generalised administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as program participants and program providers.
- Work collaboratively to achieve positive learning outcomes, provide support for participants.
- Support delivery and coordination of learning and development program, such as face to screen, workshops, mandatory learning and other adhoc events.
- Maintain effective program and participation information, manage data and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Creating reports, data extraction, collation and cleaning, analysis and interpretation of e-learning completion reports.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to review, maintain/update learning products and associated learning resources and content.
- Identify improvements and ideas to continuously improve learning and development outcomes for the Agency and its people.
Desirable:
Develop e-learning solutions using a variety of authoring tools, adhering to visual design principles and user experience design best practices.
Qualifications:
Qualifications in Human Resources/ Learning and Development and/or other relevant qualifications, highly desirable.
Previous experience in similar roles with two or more years’ experience, highly desirable.
Essential Requirements:
The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected) security clearance or hold a current security clearance of an appropriate level.
Ability to obtain and maintain a national police check.
