Administrative Support Worker

Full Time – 38 Hours Per Week | Ongoing

About the Role

The Administrative Support Worker will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Health & Wellbeing unit. Reporting directly to the Executive Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of programs and services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and taking detailed minutes.

Assisting with contract management, including tracking deadlines and compliance.

Supporting budget oversight through financial tracking, processing invoices, and preparing reports.

Assisting with the preparation of presentations, reports, and correspondence for stakeholders.

Supporting the planning and delivery of health programs, initiatives, and events.

Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

This role is vital to enabling effective service delivery and ensuring our Health & Wellbeing initiatives reach the community.

About You - Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

You will bring experience in business or office administration and demonstrate a strong understanding of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the health factors that impact them. You’ll have:

Experience in business or office administration.

Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, culture, and health needs.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking ability.

Experience in contract management and financial tracking.

High-level computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

What We Offer:

Competitive pay and conditions based on the ACCHS Award – Administrative Grade 4 (Paid above award based on experience and qualifications).

Salary packaging of $15,900 available for Part- or Full-time employees.
