About the role
The primary responsibility of the role is to provide administrative support across the organisation and its various programs. You will be the first point of contact for people attending the service and calling the administration phone line. The role requires a welcoming and respectful response to visitors and callers, ensuring they are linked with the appropriate staff member.
Salary
SCHADS Award SACS Level 3. The pay point will be determined by the successful applicant's experience and qualifications.
A 12-month fixed term contract will be offered.
Key responsibilities:
Be the first point of contact, responding to calls and visitors in a warm, respectful and professional manner
Provide operational support including managing inboxes, registers, accounts processing, supplies and office resources
Assist with urgent travel and accommodation bookings for clients
Support program delivery by coordinating resources such as alarms, WESNET mobiles and personal care items
Assist with room set-up and catering for meetings, events, groups and training.
Accurately maintain and update client records in the database
Contribute to a positive team culture, supporting communication and collaboration across DVPC

Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Office skills
Maintain records with precision, ensuring accuracy and consistency at all times

About us
The Domestic Violence Prevention Centre (DVPC) is a specialist service which supports women, children and young people who have experienced domestic and family violence. We also deliver the Men's DV Education and Intervention program and convene an Integrated Response group that works with agencies on the Gold Coast to improve collaboration and responses to victim survivors of domestic and family violence to enhance their safety and wellbeing.
