We are currently upstaffing and seeking an Administration & Reception Support Officer who is confident, organised, and thrives in a role with variety. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy administration but also like connecting with people and lending a hand wherever it’s needed.
About the role
This newly created role provides high-quality administrative support across our programs and teams, while also covering reception when required.
No two days will be the same – one day you may be assisting our accounts officer, the next supporting housing documentation or helping the bookings team. Your flexibility, attention to detail, and willingness to pitch in will make you a valued part of our team.
Key responsibilities
Provide warm and professional meet-and-greet services for clients and visitors
Answer and direct incoming calls
Support reception during busy periods or staff leave
Deliver administrative support across multiple program areas
Process documents, maintain records, and assist with database management
Support housing, accounts, and bookings functions as needed
Assist with invoices, reconciliations, and financial data entry
Follow CASA’s policies, procedures, and WHS requirements
What we’re looking for
Strong administration skills and experience in a busy office environment (not-for-profit experience highly regarded)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Confident with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and support different parts of the organisation
Mandatory requirements
Blue Card – Working with Children (QLD)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Current Class “C” Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
Experience with Xero and/or Console Gateway
Database management experience
