Join the School of Graduate Research and provide essential support to our vibrant research community. In this role, you will work closely with researchers to prepare, review, negotiate and execute a variety of research contracts, including scholarships, industry placements, confidentiality agreements and intellectual property or data-sharing arrangements. You will ensure contracts meet University policies, funding requirements and legal standards while providing clear, timely advice to internal and external stakeholders.
You will also collaborate with the University’s legal team, manage administrative processes and support scholarship programs to maintain efficiency and consistency. Your work will involve guiding candidates and supervisors on contractual milestones and obligations, maintaining accurate records, and promoting risk-informed decision-making. This role requires initiative, discretion and attention to detail while building strong professional relationships across the research community.

Position Requirements
Strong knowledge of research administration, university policies, procedures and relevant legislation affecting research operations.
Proven ability to draft, review and amend a variety of legal documents.
Demonstrated experience maintaining client confidentiality and managing sensitive information.
Expertise in interpreting funding rules and guidelines for managing grant related agreements.
A degree with at least four years of relevant experience in contract administration; or extensive experience and leadership in an administrative role; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Previous experience working in a legal office (desirable).
