We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to join this dynamic team and help expand their presence within the mortgage funding sector.

This allows them to offer low rates and to accept borrowers in unique circumstances or with special needs such as low doc loans, bad credit solutions, and SMSF loans. What We Offer
- A competitive salary package up to $110K Plus Commission (OTE $160K - $190K)

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in Mortgage Brokering, Credit Analysis, sales, or business development within the financial services sector.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset capable of interpreting financial statements.
- Familiarity with MS Office and industry-specific database systems.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements including the Financial Services Reform Act, Privacy Act, Consumer Credit Code, and Trade Practices Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of products, policies, and procedures to maximise customer acquisition and retention.
- Promote lending products actively to brokers, aggregators, and their clients, enhancing brand visibility.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research and competitor analysis.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with aggregator groups, mortgage insurers, funders, valuers, solicitors, and other industry partners.
- Coach and support brokers, fostering their development and success.
- Prepare and submit applications to mortgage insurers and lenders, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Attend industry events, functions, and trade shows to represent BMM professionally.
- Maintain diligent records, including call reports and broker visit summaries, ensuring targets are met.
