About the role

We’re on the lookout for sharp, organised individuals to join our Pathology Collections Team as After Hours Rostering Admins. This is a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes role where your quick thinking and problem-solving skills will help keep our healthcare services running smoothly.

Option of working:

Weekdays: Monday to Friday 05:30 – 12:30; OR

Weekend: Saturday 05:30 – 12:30 and Sunday 17:00-20:00

You’ll be responsible for managing the master roster, planning daily staffing coverage, and responding to the unexpected. Like sick calls and unplanned leave. If you thrive in early mornings, enjoy working from home, and love solving logistical puzzles, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Maintaining and updating the master roster for our Collections Team.

Planning daily staffing to ensure full coverage across collection centres.

Managing planned leave and responding to unplanned absences.

Communicating with staff and supervisors to fill roster gaps.

Supporting operational decisions with smart, efficient rostering.

Assisting with reporting and identifying staffing trends.

What You Bring:

Proven experience in rostering, scheduling, or coordination—healthcare experience is highly regarded.

Resilience and adaptability—you stay calm and focused when plans change unexpectedly.

Excellent communication skills—you’re confident picking up the phone and getting things sorted.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Comfortable using digital rostering toolsDeputy experience is highly desirable and will be highly regarded.

A collaborative, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
