WA Door & Docking Service Technician.

installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial doors and loading systems.

We are currently recruiting full-time Service Technicians.

Salary: AUD 80,000 to AUD 90,000 per year + superannuation

As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal

functioning and performance of commercial doors and loading dock systems. You

will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks to meet

the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Install various types of commercial doors, including roller doors,

sectional doors, and high-speed doors, as well as loading dock systems such as

dock levellers, dock seals / shelters and truck restraints. This will entail fitting and

assembling custom fabricated metal parts into the various door and loading dock

systems

Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance inspections and perform

necessary repairs on industrial doors and loading systems to ensure longevity and

optimal performance.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to door and loading dock

malfunctions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Door and Loading Systems Technician working

with systems such as ASSA ABLOY, MCC systems, CDM9 Docking systems etc.

• Technical proficiency in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial

doors and loading dock systems.

• Knowledge of various door types, including roller doors, sectional doors, and high-

speed doors.

• Familiarity with loading dock equipment such as dock levellers, seals, and shelters.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards.

• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy equipment.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• A certificate III in a relevant trade, or at least 3 years experience as a Technician

working with industrial door and loading dock
