About the role

KP FABRICATION & WELDING PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Malaga, WA. KP Fabrication's work is 95% aluminum. We are very diverse in the work that we do, and it is all custom made to the client's specifications. There is no production line, so the applicant needs to be proficient in Fabrication as well as welding. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to contribute to the success of our growing company.

Job Description:

Tradesman Certificate 3 in heavy or light fabrication.

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.

Must be able to weld Aluminum, MIG and TIG to a high standard.

Collaborate with the team to ensure the timely completion of projects

Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety policies

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role

Strong welding skills, including proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and/or diagrams.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Current forklift license and experience in operating forklifts, Press Brake, Guillotine and other machinery.

Strong work ethic and a commitment to following all safety procedures
