The Opportunity

TAMS are seeking suitably qualified experienced Welders to join our team at Fremantle Shore Base.

Key Duties

Carry out high-quality pressure welding on pipelines, vessels, and structural components to meet industry codes and standards.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and specifications.

Select and prepare materials, consumables, and equipment for welding tasks.

Perform welding using GTAW (TIG), SMAW (stick), or MIG processes (Innershield) as required.

Ensure all welds meet inspection, testing, and quality assurance requirements.

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in line with company safety standards.

Complete job documentation, weld logs, and quality control records accurately.

Work collaboratively with supervisors, fabricators, and other team members to deliver projects on time.

Key Requirements

Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Welder

Experience in structural steel fabrication and welding

Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick Welding

Construction Industry White Card

Valid C Class Driver’s licence

Strong organisational, multi-tasking and prioritising skills

Ability to problem solve and work unsupervised

Assist other departments to achieve time sensitive deadlines

Commitment to Attitude, OHS, Community and Environment

Desirable

MSIC licence
