A UK-headquartered organisation undergoing rapid expansion in Australia through large-scale acquisitions is seeking a talented Finance Business Partner to join its growing team. With a local turnover exceeding $100 million and continued growth on the horizon, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, acquisition-driven environment.

This newly created position has arisen due to ongoing growth and increased operational complexity. The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the Australian operations, partnering with stakeholders across both Australia and the UK. The role offers a unique blend of financial and commercial responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and review management accounts with meaningful commentary.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the Australian division.
• Develop and monitor non-financial KPIs to assess performance.
• Support capital expenditure and acquisition business cases.
• Drive improvements in financial controls, reporting, and processes.
• Assist with integration of newly acquired practices, including occasional on-site support.
• Provide support for tax compliance (e.g., GST, payroll tax) and annual audit processes.
• Collaborate closely with UK finance and Australian operational teams.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Prepare and review completion accounts and apportionment claims for acquisitions.
• Support regulatory financial submissions as required.

Candidate Profile

• CA/CPA qualified
• Strong background in finance business partnering
• Experience across both public practice and commercial environments preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Microsoft NAV and Cognos is advantageous
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working with remote teams across geographies
