With a strong reputation for innovation and quality, their product range includes refuse collection vehicles, static compactors, sweepers, and sewer cleaning equipment, but for this role you will be working solely on static compactors.

Your new role

They are currently seeking a qualified Fabricator / Boilermaker to join their Production Team in a workshop-based role. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to work with a respected manufacturer in a safety-focused and supportive environment.

• Fabricate bulk waste components and fit out parts to a range of municipal products
• Build compactor bins, heads, and other equipment to specification
• Interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures
• Operate workshop machinery including press brake, band saw, and drill press
• Perform MIG welding and oxy cutting to a high standard.
• Complete fabrication, maintenance, and upgrades as required
• Maintain documentation and participate in safety/toolbox meetings
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade qualified in welding or boilermaking
• Proven experience in fabrication and welding (MIG and oxy-cutting mandatory)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Forklift licence (advantageous)
• Basic computer literacy
• Understanding of 5S and workplace safety practices
