Parallel Workshop is a boutique architecture and design practice based in Cremorne. We pride ourselves on delivering thoughtful, innovative design solutions, and we're looking for a motivated Finance Manager to join our team and oversee accounting and administration across multiple entities.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day accounting processes and support office administration. You’ll work directly with directors and liaise closely with external accountants to ensure efficient accounts management and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

End-to-end bookkeeping & accounts management across multiple entities (Australia & Malaysia).

Fortnightly payroll, staff records, and compliance.

Invoicing, debtor follow-up, and linking project costs to client billing.

Bank reconciliations, BAS/IAS preparation with external accountants.

Monthly financial reports and compliance support.

Stock management and general office administration.

About You

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Experience managing accounts across multiple entities and working independently.

Strong Xero skills, including multi-entry and payroll management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in taking responsibility.

Available full-time, comfortable working on-site in Cremorne.

Preferred:

CPA accredited (or working towards).

Familiarity with the architecture, construction or property industries.
