Morgan Consulting is proud to be partnering with a well-established Melbourne-based organisation to recruit a hands-on and highly organised Office Manager. This is a dynamic role that combines office management with accounting responsibilities, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy environment.

About the Role
In this position, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the office while managing core finance functions. With a balance of bookkeeping and accounts support alongside day-to-day office administration, this role is well suited to someone who takes initiative, enjoys building strong relationships, and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance:

  • End-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliations and payment processing
  • Preparing financial reports and assisting with month-end processes
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and compliance documentation

Office Management:

  • Overseeing daily office operations and administration
  • Coordinating supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Supporting HR activities including onboarding, leave management, and staff communications
  • Implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures
  • Acting as the first point of contact for staff, clients, and suppliers

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and finance administration
  • Strong office management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across diverse teams
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective task prioritisation
