We are currently seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join a leading systems integrator delivering major energy and mining projects. This Perth-based position involves a mix of office and site-based work, focused on control systems delivery across substation, microgrid, and industrial process environments.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong SCADA background (Ignition, Plant SCADA, etc.)
• PLC proficiency across Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, Emerson
• Experience with Siemens A8000, WinCC, SCC highly regarded
• Familiar with protocols such as IEC-61850, DNP3, OPC-UA, Modbus TCP
• Understanding of AEMO/grid compliance and industrial networks

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and commission SCADA and PLC systems
• Deliver substation automation and microgrid control solutions
• Perform FAT, site commissioning, and signal validation
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional teams
• Produce technical documentation and architecture diagrams
