Senior Control Systems Engineer
NES Fircroft are partnering with a tier 1 iron ore miner supporting their major project portfolio across their Pilbara assets, these projects are progressing into their next stage and as such are requiring additional control systems engineering resources

• Dedicated onboarding and aftercare team as an NES Fircroft contractor

About You

• Degree qualified Control Systems Engineering degree (Or similar discipline) with demonstrated West Australian mining experience
• GE/Emerson and Siemens PLC Programming experience
• Ignition SCADA, Cimplicity, Win CC Programming experience alongside HMI system design/development
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience with varied systems controllers and programming languages (Structured Text, Function Block, Ladder, C#, VB)

Job Role

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for existing brownfield (Mine site, Fixed plant, Power, NPI and Water) and new greenfield developments
• Ensure systems meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
• Review of designs and ensuring these fit required Australian engineering standards
• Management of contractors and control system integrators
• Hands on programming of PLC and SCADA systems
