Description

• Provide engineering expertise in the development and support of onboard rail systems.
• Ensure integration of hardware and software for safety-critical applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and system reliability initiatives.
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of onboard systems.
• Manage system documentation, compliance, and technical reporting.

Profile

A successful Specialist On-board Systems Engineer should have:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems, or related Engineering.
• Proven experience in on-board rail or transport systems engineering.
• Strong understanding of control, communication, and safety systems.
• Ability to manage integration of complex hardware/software solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capability.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, or reliability engineering.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and innovation.
