Your role and responsibilities:
PropertyExpert is looking for a Property Claims Expert Team Manager to support the Australian market and its growth. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive by nature, highly organised and desire to be an active contributor. If this sounds like you, you'll be joining a dynamic & fast-paced environment and play an integral role in strategic initiatives and operational execution of the claims business.
Collaborate with the greater global operation in the development and implementation of best practices, procedures and processes for the property claims expert review team.
Involved heavily at the claim file review level as these best practices, procedures and processes are developed.
Actively participate in the building of your team to scale with the Australian business' growth.
Develop team members for long-term success at PropertyExpert and after.
Maintain performance records and prepare reports for senior management regarding production, quality and overall performance of your team.
Ensure excellent customer experience is provided to clients and client stakeholders.
Represent the Australian claims operation as a manager in client meetings as well as in global meetings and collaboration. Additionally, opportunities exist to participate in globally focused projects impacting the claims operation.
Requirements:
10+ years in related property claims industry professional experience
Minimum 3 years in managing a property claims related team preferably at a major general insurance provider
Prior experience in property claims estimating & scoping required
Minimum 5+ years of property claims estimating and scoping experience required
Prior construction trades and related experience preferred
Advanced proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word)
Recognised qualifications or industry memberships in property claims or loss adjusting are preferred.
Ability to complete multiple tasks under tight timelines with a high degree of autonomy
Must have Australian work rights
